Red Oak Dresser and Bookcase

 


 

 

I was recently commissioned to build a project for a child's room that was based from a plan built by Norm Abram on the New Yankee Workshop. At the customers request, I modified the plan so there were dresser drawers on both sides of the base unit. I also changed the plan, which calls for two base units, to one single unit with a single top. This project was made from oak veneered plywood, banded with solid red oak, and Baltic birch plywood for the drawer cases.
