Click here for larger view    I assembled the right half of the base unit first. Biscuits were used to attach the ends of the drawer dividers to the case.

Another change I made from the original plan was the use of biscuits to attach the solid oak edge strips to conceal the plywood edges. Norm used a tongue and groove joint cut into all the parts. In a effort to save some time I decided to go with biscuit joinery which was faster and didn't sacrifice strength.
