Six Drawer Dresser With Mirror and Nightstand

I built these pieces out of red oak as part of a group of furniture for a little girl's bedroom. The dresser measures 72 inches wide by 36 inches tall by 18 3/8 inches deep. The customer requested large drawers for lots of storage. The drawers are 7 3/4 inches deep by 32 inches wide by 18 inches long. The mirror frame is 40 inches wide by 36 inches tall.

The nightstand is 19 inches wide by 22 3/8 inches tall by 16 3/8 inches deep. It has two drawers 5 1/2 inches deep.

To achieve the color requested by the customer, no stain was needed. I applied three coats of polyurethane; the last being a coat of satin. This gave the wood the slight amber tone she was looking for.

Unfortunately, the only photos I have are some I took before applying the finish, and one taken by the customer after setting up the furniture at home. The lighting was poor, so the color looks darker than it really was.
