Refinishing A Washstand

I was recently commissioned to refinish a very old red oak washstand. This project required several repairs before refinishing. The worst problem was the top. It had been nailed to the case and had warped and split all the way across. It was missing the bottom shelf which was used to "lock" the bottom of the casework together. Also one of the drawers needed to have its bottom fixed and the hardware was missing.

Below is a list of links that show this project in various stages from start to finish.
