Essays by Dayāmati Richard HayesI am what some in the Buddhist world call a “scholar-practitioner,” in that I am a dharmachari of the Western Buddhist Order and a professor of Buddhist philosophy at University of New Mexico. I don't much like the label “scholar-practitioner” and would prefer to think of myself as a person who uses writing as a method of clarifying my thoughts and then shares that writing in case it may be of some use to others as they try to clarify theirs.
