Don Herr hybridizes award-winning daylilies at his home in Lancaster, PA. He's been improving the stock since his first introduction of ON LINE in 1996. Striving for northern hardy plants with good branching and bud count, he has registered more than 30 cultivars. Most of the daylilies grown here are seedlings. Approximately 225 cultivars from other hybridizers join the Herr introductions to make up the collection. Not a large collection, but a choice one with many fine examples of the modern daylily.
