Chronic concerns that we experience today can come from deficiencies that we have been supporting for years or decades.  At times, our bodies do not efficiently absorb vitamins and minerals directly from the food that we eat.  Vitamin and mineral supplements, not only contain a high concentration of the deficient nutrient, but they can also contain other ingredients that create the right chemical balance for the body to absorb the missing nutrient. 

VITAMINS AND MINERALS - A TEAM SPORT!

Vitamins and minerals depend on each other in order to be utilized in the body.  Let's look at some examples.  In order for Vitamin A to travel in the bloodstream, it needs the mineral zinc.  A vitamin A deficiency can really be a zinc deficiency.  All B Vitamins depend on each other and an excess in one B Vitamin can hide or create a deficiency in another B Vitamin.  Vitamin E helps re-activate Vitamin C and magnesium and calcium balance each other in the body. 

When you have a deficiency or excess in a vitamin or mineral, many times, it is more effective to look at the vitamin or mineral which aids or is antagonistic to the deficiency or excess.
