Tiger Woods Too Late To Die Young The Fifth Beatles From: NadinaS Was a really good show, of course I can't remember the setlist at all. Ha being a deadhead you'd think I'd be good at that... speaking of setlist I have a great story about that... Anyway show 3 was great, he was a bit spaced out at the beginning, stopped during a song or 2 & didn't finish, but by the end it was quite magical. He sang a bunch of beautiful tunes I didn't know, encore was a great version of 5th beatle. OK- now for my story--Dan played the Gathering of the
Vibes this past summer, which is comparable to Berkfest. Lots of deadheads and
hippie-types. James Brown was headlining. I was working backstage & Dan
& I went into the crowd to see James Brown. It was late at nite, a beautiful
nite, he dragged me up front-- we were in around the 10th row or so. We were
rocking out at that crazy show, costumes, lights, From: Robert No real old tunes; he had no harmonica; so, as you can imagine, it was a little different; i did not write down a list, but bernstein opened with Tiger Woods, and ended (i think) with Too Late to Die, or Oh Sister ( I can't remember which); he also played the 5th Beatle for one of the encores; some of the other highlites (at least for me) were Wood Fuckin' Racquet (with full sing along); Joe Christ, Coffee With DIck, I'm Not the Guy, Drifting Along?, City of Models, Black Kids on Mopeds, Thunder Road; That is all I remember right now.
