Paikuhan first shows up during the Anoyoichi Boudouki. He fights with Goku, in the final round and looses. But in the end they were both disqualified because they touched the roof of the arena. He also appears in DBZ Movie #12, where he tries to free King Yamma and the rest of Heaven from a glass prison created by Janemba. He is the student of the West Kaio, who is always in competition with the North Kaio's students.
