FrEd, the Fractal Editor (ver. 1.3)           (c)1993 by David Canright

This DOS program uses Michael Barnsley's "Chaos Game" algorithm to display 
fractals defined by "Iterated Function Systems".  

Features: * Full editing capabilities to modify the IFS - design your own
fractals! * IFS given in terms of geometric properties (scaling, rotation,
fixed point) * Color optionally included as an independent dimension *
Randomizer generates an endless variety of new fractals * save fractal images
as .PCX files * Help screen explains commands, algorithm * Many example .IFS
files included.

FREDEX.EXE is a self-extracting compressed file. 
To INSTALL on the C: drive from this floppy in the A: (or B:) drive, type:
     A:          (or B: for that drive)
     install
To INSTALL from Windows, in the "File" menu, choose "Run", and fill in
     A:install   (or B:install for that drive)
Then to RUN FrEd, at the DOS prompt, get in the C:\FRED directory and type:
     fred
