The History of My Little Mustang

On January 3, 1967 my Mustang Coupe rolled off of the assembly line in San Jose, CA (Milpitas, CA).  It included a 200 six cylinder engine, standard trim with bucket seats, Pebble Beige exterior color and Saddle interior color, C4 automatic, and a 3.20:1 convential rear end.  Not very exciting or unusual, but that could change.  I purchased my Mustang on September 18, 1999 for a mere $250.  It was in rough shape, banged up fender, rust, interior filthy, rust, paint falling off, more rust.  It wasn't as bad as it could have been, but I was used to cars not being rusty, and this one was.  I trailered it home (didn't run very well), and played with the carb and timing and got it running pretty well, well enough to drive anyway.  From that point on, I realized it needed a lot more power.  So that was the beginning of my many modifications and part swaps that now create my little Mustang.
