The GRANITE STATE OPEN MIC is an acoustic open mic intended to be a forum for performing artists and their original works. GRANITE STATE OPEN MIC will ONLY allow the performance of original works by an artist unless they provide evidence (through the Release & Set List form) that they have the right to perform other material. The GRANITE STATE OPEN MIC will be digitally recorded (video and audio), edited and then broadcast on Concord Community Television.

The open mic will be held at Borders Book Store located on Fort Eddy Road, Concord, NH.   The show will include one featured artist that will perform approximately 30 to 35 minutes (to include an encore). There will also be three open mic slots or no more than 15 minutes each and one slot for Granite State Open Mic Personnel of no more than 10 minutes each. The open mic will be held every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month at 3:00 pm.

The show will air on Concord Community Television approximately two weeks after the date of the open mic. You can check ConcondTV listing at their web site www.yourconcordtv.org or www.ddagnese.com. Generally each show will air two times and then be archived in ConcordTV’s archive system.

SONGWRITERS IN THE ROUND is a quarterly gathering of six to seven songwriters who will take turns performing their original songs.  This format encourages impromptu discussions about the song - the inspiration, background, lyrics, dedications, etc.

This two-hour program will be digitally recorded and broadcast on ConcordTV channel 22.  The first SONGWRITERS IN THE ROUND is scheduled for early spring of 2011, from 4pm to 6pm at Strings & Things music store located at 113 South Main Street, Concord, NH.
