The telephone numbers and addresses of networks, production companies, talent agents and fan clubs are acceptable topics of discussion. ATTACHMENTS:

Please do not post messages with "attached" files to this mailing list. These coded files waste a lot of space on mail servers, in the digest version of the list and they can not be deciphered by most mail clients.

DISABLING Text Formatting:

Please do not send or reply to messages using formatted text. Doing so wastes bandwidth, wastes server space and pads the digest version of this list with random text. Besides, not all of the subscribers to this list use email clients that can take advantage of this feature.

Consult your email client's "Help" menu to learn how to disable text formatting.

OFF-TOPIC POSTING:

This list is for "Moonlighting" related conversation. Please try not to post off-topic. However, if there is an "off-topic" subject that you feel you MUST share with the other members of this group, please begin the subject line of your email with the string "OFF TOPIC:". This permits busy members to skip past "off-topic" postings.

LANGUAGE:

Because we consider ourselves a mature group and we do not wish to offend either contributing or lurking members of the list, profanity should be kept to a minimum. A good rule of thumb would be that if you haven't heard "that word or phrase" used on "Moonlighting", then it is probably inappropriate to use it here.

FLAMING:

In general, this is a friendly, supportive and cooperative group. All comments and opinions are welcome. If you disagree, disagree without being disagreeable. If someone disagrees with you, do not take it personally. Flaming is not necessary and will not be tolerated. If a member of this list becomes offensive, misuses the list or fails to follow rules of "Netiquette" within the list, report it to Diane DeMelo or Brian C. Madsen.

REPLYING:

Do you quote the original message when "replying" to a post? Save space and make your reply clearer. Please cut the header information, signature file, and irrelevant parts of the original message from your reply. For example, do not begin or end your message by quoting an entire long post, when your reply consists of only a couple lines or words such as "me too" or "I agree." Your ideas are less likely to be seen if the reader has to scroll through dozens of lines of quoted material to find them.

It is also STRONGLY SUGGESTED that you read all your unread mail before replying to a particular message. You may find that a question has already been answered. This helps to eliminate the posting of several similar answers to the same question.
