A wonderful big band approach to this patriotic
song. Begins with a fully voiced chorale with trumpets in flugels.
The remainder of the piece uses a "contemporary" straight 8th note
feel, featuring Tenor 1 (or an optional female vocal soloist) as
well as a trombone soli setting of the melody. A big, full ensemble

eventually joined by the bones and trumpets in a build to a

Wonderfully unique and entertaining piece
utilizing a New Orleans street-beat underpinning to feature the
entire ensemble. The introduction features the trombone section in
an acapella version of the melody. Open solos on Bb-blues changes.

features a German waltz feel with the tenors and altos on Bb

States National Anthem was performed for years by the U.S. Air Force
Falconaires jazz ensemble. Arranged in Bb, an optional vocal solo

setting for 4 euphoniums and 4 tubas utilizes a fast 4/4 meter
throughout most of the piece. The first two thirds of the work are
in Bb minor, modulating to G minor, followed by G major and closing
