 Figural Advertising Roundlet for 'Boyer Hammer'

Probably U.S. made in the second quarter of the 20th Century in the figural form of pneumatic hammer. Marked on one side 'BOYER HAMMER' & on the other side 'THE CONSOLIDATED PNEUMATIC HAMMER CO. LTD.' Nicely made and detailed figure of the company's product.

When closed it measures 4 7/8 inches long. Cond. 9/10

 Italian Double Lever w/ Elongated Arms

Unusual early 20th Century double lever with arms extending below the cage nearly 1 7/8 inches. The purpose of the extended length of the arms may be for added mechanical leverage, as well as serving as bottle grips or guides while the worm insertion is begun...similar to the design of a Lund bottle grips. The finish is nickle plating over steel. Well constructed, possibly not Italian but German or Austrian. Heavy construction. Unmarked. Length as shown at left is 8 inches. Plating mostly intact but for some wear to one arm, & a few small spots otherwise. Full center cut worm. Scarce. Cond. 9/10.

Nickle plated steel. Fully marked H.D. ARMSTRONG on two long arms & partial marks twice on shorter arms. Minor surface rust. Plating 95% + intact. Approx. 4.5 X 6.5 inches in closed position.

Wolverson's English registered design 2 piece lever with an unusual advertising corkscrew for 'DAY & SONS CREWE LTD' marked on both sides of handle. Original copper wash approx. 50% intact on handles. Marked on brass fulcrum 'THE TANGENT LEVER'.
