04. Popham Beach Bed & Breakfast
A beach-side Bed and Breakfast Inn with four Guest rooms in a renovated Lifesaving Station at a ideal location to view local Lighthouses either on shore or by boat. Pond Island Light is 4,585-feet offshore from the beach at the B&B Inn, Seguin Light is best viewed from nearby Popham Beach State Park, 2 nautical miles offshore at Seguin Island, and Perkins Island Light is best viewed from nearby Fort Popham.
In the past, the Old Coast Guard Life Saving Station (1883) rescued mariners stranded in the mouth of Kennebec River and maintained links to the Lighthouse crews on Pond and Seguin Islands.

09. Monomoy Point Lighthouse, Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge
The Friends of Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge may schedule occasional weekend overnight stays in the Keeper’s house from Memorial Day to late September. For availability and more information, call (508) 945-0594. During the off-season, Monomoy Point Light Station is closed to the public.
The two barrier islands of Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge are ideal nesting and migratory stopover habitat for a variety of shorebirds, including piping plovers and roseate terns. A colony of almost 5,000 Gray seals can be seen in the nearby bay all year-long and Harbor seals may be spotted of the coast of Monomoy from August until May.
