Our new computer lab in use...
Our membership in the Burlington County Library system allows us the opportunity to request titles from other libraries linked throughout the county and for a nominal fee libraries across the country, meeting the needs of patrons of every age. So whether you read for pleasure, are a how-to guru or have an assignment for school, the Delanco Library can meet your needs.
The Library has two Internet accessible computers and one computer with online access to the Burlington County Library System catalog. In 2009 the library will be adding two additional internet capable computers. This equipment purchase is part of a matching funds grant through the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Because our members gave so generously during our 2008 fundraising campaign we were able to match part one of this two part grant. We will need to match part two funds before the end of 2010.
The Library also has wireless internet access.
Periodicals, business and information databases are also available on-line for research.

The 2009 Membership Drive turned out to be our most successful drive to date! We all know the economy is tight, but the people of Delanco dug deep and gave generously again this year. The money donated stays right here in Delanco and will be used for the purchase of books and other media, as well as funding programs throughout the year.
In addition, some of the funds will be dedicated to the purchase of furniture for the two new public computers that are being added as part of the Gates Foundation grant or as part of the matching funds for phase 2 of the grant.
