We must no longer sell our airwaves to agents of foreign afiliation without proper visibility. English must remain the language with which we keep our culture together; lest we are willing to allow further desintegration of our leading roll on this planet.
. A new model for economic survival must be found for all of humanity in need of such help. No matter where on earth you are and whatever your skill set may be, the collective must find a way to allow all people willing to work, to do work to the best of their ability; and thereby earn subsistance money. If this doesn't happen soon we may well be facing WW3 or total destruction all together. (E.g.: If we pay prisoners 1/2 of what it takes to keep them in prison up front, we may well keep them out of crime's way all together and save money too. If we allow people to earn money with some kind of locally sustainable activity, truly needed or not, we may well save 3/4 of the cost of war or obliteration).
. No matter what good deeds are planned, there will always be vocal disagreement by the self centered.

per year without having to do a thing.
All we are asking is to kill off
or otherwise eliminate the Taliban and continue peacefully with rebuilding
their own country using materials and tools purchased from the US.

Find a new way of moneytising personal earning of income, anywhere, by remote interaction in the face of no longer needing to produce the way we are used to (after all robotic mass production has taken care of most of that including farming) and you will have solved the world's problems - just about all of them!!!

It seems like abuse, theft and corruption are the ingredients of all paralyses; add the loss of civility, good will, plus the absence of manners and hygene and you have a surefire recipe for failure of any sensible program. It is impossible to legislate good sense and to cover all possibilities with some law or other. So, what appears to be needed more than anything else is to redefine justice in terms of compromise between alternate perspectives under the realization that absolute justice is not attainable. After that we need to redefine what and how people mange income and perceived entitlements, preferably without the need of commuting physically. A tractatus to that end is in order.

How about reducing spam at the providers end when customers send the same eMails back time and time again that is a surefire indication that its spam we are dealing with without steping on anybodies toes about free speach. Require a return to sender option on your browser for this purpose eMail without an actual, valid return address should not be transmitted. Emails with clearly hijaked sender to sender addresses should be automatically deleted without ever getting received.
. How about cutting the unnecessary overtime that my city allows - I see the various departments joyriding all the time, especially on weekends. Just yesterday the steet cleaner drove around carefully avoiding debris and leaves right in his path - such fun. I have pictures to prove it to the city of Berkeley.

What war was it that McCane knows how to win? Refresh my memory, and while you are at it: How many people did Palin lead as major? How many did McCane lead while he was in the air force?
. The bailout could be done differently! Let's take the 700,000,000,000 (yes, that many 0's) and put them out to having our infrastructure repaired, that would get the economy rolling just fine providing the dignity of work for the people who would become creditworthy again. Such an infusion, guaranteed and driven by the government, would be a burden worth paying for! Garanteed to have a better effect.
Better yet, pay every legal citizen, man, woman and child 2500 in cash out of the bailout fund - "trickle up" economics. That'll get the economy going again.
. Throw them all out! All of them; stop the ripp off. Note that many defaulted properties are in foreign ownership anyway; so, who are we bailing out? The greedy Germans, the greedy Chinese or the greedy French? This bailout is rewarding the very crooks that mismanaged to suit their personal advantage in the fist place. They baged the money and still enjoy the proceeds! Let the overheated, mismanaged economy come to a realistic normal. Free money perpetuates their contemt for society at large. Do not bail them out!!! Let us not add to an economy on kiting credit.

I have a solution to harden the economy: Ask all that do well to buy 4000
$'s worth of goods and all who might afford it to spend 2000 $'s on goods,
immediately; let the poor hang on for the ride. That gives us all something
for our money and strengthens the Dollar as well.

. What's going on? According to NPR only 3% of mortgages are in default; does this warrant a bailout? This is beginning to look like the biggest heist in history, ever!
If there is a bailout, the condition must be execution of the CEO's and certainly no golden parachutes for these so&so's.
. How many times over will we allow to have the country stolen from us? The work, the Social Security, your Bank savings, the school system, the infrastructure, the list goes on and on.
Bridled capitalism is the answer. Nobody must be allowed to earn more than 100 times more per hour than anybody else. You hear about the financial excesses every day where multimillion donations or multimillion art purchases are made; well guess where that money is coming from. Checked your purse lately?
. The powers of the Vice Presidency have gone out of bounds as is evident from Mr. Cheney's actions and refusal to disclose on the grounds that there is no law compelling him to do so. A wake up call to congress! Demand accountability. Nobody is above the laws of the land. Fix the laws to maintain checks and balances before it is too late!!!!
. Since Mr. McCain disagrees with the democratic agenda he owes the country to tell exactly which of the points that were mentioned at the democratic convention he finds himself in disagreement with; please Mr. McCain provide a list.
Allow me to pose the following question: Did McCain vote for George Bush and would he vote for George Bush again? Did he vote for George Bush on his second term? Mr. Bush thinks McCain should be president, could he be wrong again?

Choosing Sarah Palin is political pandering at its worst, it reveals a profound contempt for a perceived non-thinking female vote, a vote that is supposed to simply vote female, no matter what other considerations may be important to the nation. I, for one, would consider being perceived as such, an insult. This choice amounts to a raid on intelligence itself. Creationism for our schools? Secession of Alaska from the union?

. Energy crises? This was hardly unexpected! Above all, stop sniveling!!! Find other ways to power our needs, how about a distributed approach using millions little contributors to the grid - all of the above. Do the numbers!
Besides t his is our opportunity to get manufacturing back into our own country. Perhaps we can employ our own people again. With transportation costs going through the roof and the quality of the imports steadily declining what's keeping us from making our own?
. Forget nuclear energy! As soon as the power plants are built the speculative fuel monopoly will kick in to shackle us! Besides where do we put the highly toxic nuclear waste of our "safe" power plants; that is and remains the unsolved problem. The French ship it to Algeria, what a deal (pure racism). Consider: Roughly 20% of our hydroelectric turbines in existing hydroelectric plants are not being used because we haven't built a distribution net to deliver the surplus energy - is anybody awake?

We need fewer things of higher quality towards a better, healthier quality of life. E.g.: A high resolution TV will not solve the lack of high quality content problem.

John McCain is simply a third term for George Bush.
Inexperience beats the current old racket hands down! Also talking leads
to understanding the opponent and a well understood foe is easier to fight.
If McCain were half the good character he projects himself to be, he would have come out strongly against the egregious speech by George Bush in front of the Israeli parliament. “This is the kind of statement that has no place in any presidential address, especially not in a foreign forum!"
As usual we have been duped to believe the propaganda about how small business
is the backbone of American business all we have created is a bunch of complicit
small time crooks that can only compete if they don't play by the rules
and thus loose their right to complain as they have become accomplices.

proposal: the time has come to change our one dollar bill into a 1,5 USD
bill to draw even with the euro. Doing so would
make the currencies one for one compatible. Consider:
if the capitalist system is the best system on earth why does the
“near socialist” system with its Euro have higher buying power
than the “all mighty” dollar? Is
our administration selling us out in yet another way? Contact your congressperson
for answers!
Note: the media have begun to lump the dollar slump in with the creeping
inflation that “nobody in the news world had noticed before”
over the last five years; they speak of the two issues as if they were synonymous;
they are not! The dollar is held low
by administrative choice, inflation is out of their control.
