David was the only child of his parents David and Margaret, as they were 68 and 44 years old when they were married. He did have many older half-brothers and half-sisters though.

  1. Agnes Flucker was christened on the 1st of September 1804 in Newhaven.
  2. Jean Flucker was christened on the 15th of December 1805 in Newhaven.  Jean may have married a William Paterson in 1828 or a William Watson in 1832.  The childrens' names are not a good match for the latter.
  3. Forbes Flucker was christened on the 10th of January 1807 in Newhaven, and died of measles at age 1 on 30th of April 1808.
  4. Margaret Flucker was christened on the 13th of March 1808 in Newhaven.  Margaret may have been married on the 11th or 17th of September 1847 to James Milne.
  5. Cathrine Flucker was christened on the 31st of December 1809 in Newhaven, and died of teething at age 9 months on 18th of September 1810.
  6. David Flucker was christened on the 13th of August 1811 in Newhaven, and died of a bowel complaint at age 1 on the 5th of August 1812.
  7. Forbes Flucker was christened on the 8th of August 1813 in Newhaven, and died of smallpox at age 2 on the 21st of May 1815.
  8. David Timothy Flucker was christened on the 23rd of July 1815 in Newhaven.
  9. Jacobina Flucker was christened on the 4th of January 1819 in Newhaven.

Half brother (By David Flucker and Christian Greig)

  1. Comb Flucker / Flockhart was born on the 26th of June and christened on the 14th of July 1831 in Newhaven and married in November 1857 in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia to Isabella McDonald.  Comb died on the 13th of December 1899 in Sebastopol, Victoria and was buried on the 14th of December 1899 in Ballarat New Cemetery, Victoria.  Isabella was born in 1832 on the Isle of Skye to Angus McDonald and Mary Campbell.  She died on the 18th of January 1917 in Ballarat, Victoria.  "Isabella came out to Australia on the Barque Georgiana with her parents and siblings.   I think off the top of my head in July 1852.   They worked in Geelong for a short time then went to Ballarat as did everyone searching for Gold.  I haven't found proof of a marriage yet.  Sometime after arriving in Ballarat. Comb changed his name from Flucker to Flockhart.", Margaret Paulsen (descendant).
