Daniel Searle King (Royal Navy & Coast Guard) was christened on the 8th of April 1832 in Saint Thomas's, Bedhampton, Hampshire, England, and married on the 19th of March 1853 in Saint Marys, Portsea, Hampshire to Harriet Sheppard.
Elizabeth King was christened on the 21st of March
1834 in Bedhampton, Hampshire.

Walter King (Agricultural Labourer) was christened on the 24th of September 1837 in Saint Thomas's, Bedhampton, Hampshire.
Alfred King (Agricultural Labourer) was christened on the 21st of April 1839 in Saint Thomas's, Bedhampton, Hampshire.
Esther/Hester King (Field Hand, Dress Maker) was born in 1840/41 and christened on the 27th of March 1842 in Saint Thomas's, Bedhampton, Hampshire. An Esther King was married on the 2nd of June 1866 in St. Faith's, Havant to a Thomas Henry Williams age 31 but our Esther is unmarried in the 1871 census.
Susan King was christened on the 7th of May 1843 in Saint Thomas's, Bedhampton, Hampshire.
William King (Labourer) was born in 1845/46 in Bedhampton, Hampshire.
Mercy King (Servant) was born in 1847/48 in Bedhampton, Hampshire and may have married in Apr-Jun 1876 in Havant to William Henry Martin. Havant Apr-Jun 1876 Vol 2b Page 657.
Mary J. King was born in 1849/50 in Bedhampton, Hampshire.

John King is now living with his third wife. There appears to be
another King family living in the same house. Elizabeth (35) is Elizabeth
Shears, the widow of Abraham King. Not sure what their relationship is
though. Probably Abraham was John's cousin, the son of John's uncle James
King.

Daniel was serving on HMS Blenheim at the time of his marriage
in March 1853. HMS Blenheim was awarded battle honours for service in the
Crimean War in 1854/55. The ship served under the command of Sir. Charles
Napier in the Baltic campaign against the Russians.
