Could this have been an elder sister of Margaret's? Mary also did not know her father's name. Is "Bridgend" a clue?

Margaret is a Lodging House Keeper.  There are also two children with the surname Graham.

• John Graham was born on the 20th of December 1825 in St. Cuthberts, Edinburgh to John Graham and Agnes Denholm.  John is a "Linen Dra Sho".
• Margaret Graham was born on the 24th of July 1834 in St. Cuthberts, Edinburgh to Peter Graham and Margaret Murray.  A Peter Graham was married to a Margaret Murray or Beattie on the 15th of August 1834 in St, Cuthberts, Edinburgh.  Margaret's father's name is given as William Murray.  Could Margaret previously have been married to a Mr. Beattie?  
  [A Margaret Murie, daughter of William Murie, was also married on the 27th of April 1838 in St. Cuthberts, Edinburgh to a James Marr. This couple had three children from 1841 until 1852, so this cannot be the same Margaret.] 
  A Margaret Murray was born on the 2nd of May and christened on the 11th of May 1804 in St. Cuthberts, Edinburgh to a William Murray and Ann Smart.  William Murray and Ann Smart were married on the 17th of January 1799 in Canongate, Edinburgh.  This Margaret had a sister and three brothers, the youngest of whom was born in North Leith.  Interesting!  There is a William and Ann Murray in the 1841 census in St. Cuthberts along with some children.  This Ann Murray was born in England around 1783.  William Murray was an upholsterer born around 1781.
  A Margaret Thomson Murray also married a James Beattie on the 4th of September 1826 in St. Cuthberts, Edinburgh.  No children.  This time, though, the father's name is given as James Murray.  A Margaret Thomson Murray was born on the 7th and christened on the 17th of March 1803 in St. Cuthberts, Edinburgh to James Murray and Joan Dalkin or Jean Walker.  A James Murray married a Jean Walker on the 8th of June 1802 in Canongate, Edinburgh.  They had children from 1803 until 1810.

Margaret is a seamstress in Wrights Houses along with many other single women.  Her age is given as 35.

Here Margaret Graham is David's housekeeper. The year after this, they are married and their son David Graham Flucker is born.
