Also step brothers and sisters (By Walter Lyle and Jean Young)

  1. Robert Young Lyles (Fisherman) was born on the 17th and christened on the 29th of December 1838 in North Leith and married around 1867 in Newhaven to Elizabeth W. Wilson.  Elizabeth was born on the 9th of May and christened on the 8th of June 1842 in Newhaven to William Wilson and Ann McDonald.

  3. Isaac Flucker Lyles was born on the 3rd and christened on the 10th of July 1843 in North Leith.  Isaac either died as a baby, or was christened twice.

  4. Isaac Flucker Lyles (Fisherman) was christened on the 25th of November 1845 in North Leith and married in 1871 in North Leith to Elizabeth McPherson.  Not sure whether or not  this is a second christening for the same child born in 1843.  An Isaac Flucker married an Ann Young in 1832.  He is perhaps Jean Young's brother-in-law, or even step-father.  Elizabeth was born on the 13th of February and christened on the 16th of March 1842 in Newhaven to Angus McPherson and Janet Hume.

  5. Jean Lyles was born on the 4th of October 1848 in North Leith.  Jean's full name may have been Jane Burton Lyle, and she may have married a Seaton Hall (Fisherman) on the 20th of September 1872.  (Verify this marriage)   This marriage seems to be a good possibility, given that Jean's grandmother's name was Jean Burton, and they had a son called Isaac Flucker Lyle Hall.

Looks as if Walter's brother David may have had a second wife and family. David Lyle and Robina Wilson were still together in the 1851 census, so if this is the correct David, things would have had to happen fairly quickly, as David and Jane Lyle had their first child in 1853/54. Need to do some more checking here.
