Elizabeth Clarke (Field Woman, Dressmaker) was christened on the 6th of September 1829 in Priorsdean, Petersfield, Hampshire and married around the 1850s to John Aldridge (Agricultural Labourer).  Elizabeth witnessed her father's death in 1870 and her mother, Lucy Hall's, in 1882.  In 1870, Elizabeth lived at Whickam Farm, Froxfield.  John was born on the 27th of November 1826 and christened on the 14th of January 1827 in Kings Clere, Hampshire to William and Elizabeth Aldridge.  No children in any of the censuses.
  2. George Clarke (Shepherd) was christened on the 1st of January 1832 in Priorsdean, Petersfield, Hampshire and married around the 1850s in Petersfield? to Emma ____.  Emma was born in 1837/38 in Alton, Hampshire.  George may have died in Jan-Mar 1902 in Petersfield, Hampshire at age 70.
  3. Diana Clark was christened on the 20th of April 1834 in Priorsdean, Petersfield, Hampshire.
  4. William Clarke was christened on the 16th October 1836 in Priorsdean and married on the 6th of October 1861 in Petersfield to Mary Anne Putman.
  5. Lucy Clark (Domestic Servant) was christened on the 28th of April 1839 in Priorsdean, Petersfield, Hampshire.

Hampnett Vol 2b Page 385) to Caroline WelcomePhotos of Bennet and Caroline - courtesy of Susan Gage (descendant).   Bennett had most of his children in New Zealand before moving to Utah.  He died on the 9th of August 1909 and was buried on the 12th of August 1909 in Warren, Weber, Utah.  Bennett Clark and his family joined the Mormon Church while he was in New Zealand (26 March 1882).  Caroline Welcome was born to George Welcome and Mary Sheppard on the 10th of November 1848 in Hunston, Sussex, England, and died on the 16th of June 1924 in Warren, Weber, Utah.  
  9. Charles Clark was christened on the 24th of April 1853 in Priors Dean, Hampshire.
