1. William Duff was born on the 31st of May and christened on the 7th of June 1786 in Rogertown, Dalrymple and married on the 1st of March 1811 in Dalrymple to Elisabeth Crooks. "May 31st, 1786... William Duff, son born to Thomas Duff and Isabel Mickle."  William was an innkeeper. Elisabeth was born on the 17th of March 1790 in Kilmarnock to John Crooks and Margaret Fraser.
• William Duff was born and christened on the 7th of July 1812 in Hollandbush Toll, Dalrymple and married on the 27th of July 1840 in Erskine, Renfrew to Elizabeth Johnstone Reid. William was a widowed schoolmaster in Beith in 1881.
• Elizabeth Duff was christened on the 15th of May 1842 in Beith, Ayrshire (origins) or Erskine, Renfrew (census).
• Catherine Duff was christened on the 4th of July 1845 in Beith, Ayrshire or Caputh, Perthshire (IGI).
• Isabella Duff was christened on the 21st of April 1851 in Beith, Ayrshire.
• Isabel Duff was born on the 28th of February and christened on the 6th of March 1814 in Hollandbush Toll, Dalrymple.  Isabel may have died on the 29th of November 1825 in Dalrymple.  "1825 November 29th ... Isabell Duff Died. She was Buried in Dalrymple Churchyard."
• Margaret Wilson Duff was christened on the 9th of March 1816 in Monkton & Prestwick and married on the 9th of December 1842 in Dalrymple to John McLauchlan.
• William McLauchlane was born on the 14th of May and christened on the 9th of June 1843 in Benston, Dalrymple.
• John McLauchlan was born on the 13th of August 1845 in Dalrymple.
• Thomas McLauchlan was christened on the 9th of December 1847 in Dalrymple.
• David Crooks McLauchlan was christened on the 23rd of February 1851 in Kilmaurs.
• Elisabeth McLauchlan was christened on the 2nd of April 1854 in Coylton, Ayrshire.
• Thomas Duff was born on the 24th of April 1818 in Dalrymple.
• David Duff was born on the 30th of December 1820 and christened on the 4th of January 1821 in Hollybush-toll, Dalrymple.  David may have married a Margaret Dickson in 1847 in St. Quivox and Newton.
2. Jean Duff (Pirn Filler) was christened on the 26th of June 1788 in Rodgertown, Dalrymple and married on the 31st of August 1810 in Dalrymple to William Bone.  "June 26th ... Jean Duff, daughter to Thomas Duff and Isabell Muckle his wife, in Rogerstown."
   Jean died of consumption on the 27th of April or the 9th of July 1843 in Dalrymple.  "July 9th ... Jane Duff or Bone in Dalrymple, Died of Consumption. She was Buried in Dalrymple Churchyard."  
   William is believed to have died in September 1833 of consumption. His parents were William Bone and Janet Muir who were married in Dalrymple on the 24th of June 1784 and died in 1848 and 1842 in Dalrymple at ages 85 and 75.  "March 25th, 1842 ... Janet Muir or Bone, age 75, in Dalrymple, Died of Decay of Nature. She was Buried in Dalrymple Churchyard."  "April 25th, 1848 ... William Bone, age 86, in Dalrymple, Died of Decay of Nature. He was Buried in Dalrymple Churchyard."
• Isabel Bone was born and christened on the 2nd of February 1812 in the Village, Dalrymple.
• Janet Muir Bone was born on the 30th of December 1816 and christened on the 5th of January 1817 in the Village, Dalrymple.  Janet died on the 2nd of June 1830 in Dalrymple at age 13.  "June 2nd ... Janet Muir Bone, a child, in the Village, Died. She was Buried in Dalrymple Churchyard.", from 1830 Deaths in Dalrymple Parish.
• Thomas Bone was born on the 26th of July and christened on the 1st of August 1819 in the Village, Dalrymple and married on the 25th of May 1840 in Dalrymple to Mary Rodger.  A second record places the marriage on the same day in Kirkmichael to Mary Rogers.
  • Mary Bone was christened on the 24th of February 1842 in Dalrymple.
  • William Bone was born around 1845 in Nethermill, Dalrymple and married on the 12th of April 1867 in Brae, Dalrymple to Mary Allison.  Mary's parents are believed to be Archibald Allison and Jane Nettleton who were married in 1835 in Kirkmichael.
    • Mary Bone was born on the 14th of May 1867 in Dalrymple.
    • Jane Nettleton Bone was born on the 28th of August 1869 in Auchinleck.
    • Wilhelmina Bone was born on the 5th of December 1871 in Auchinleck.
    • Thomas Bone was born on the 29th of May 1874 in Auchinleck.
    • Rachel Bone was born in 1884 in Dalziel, Lanarkshire and married in 1907 in Coylton, Rankinston, Ayrshire to Allan Gavin.
• James Bone was born and christened on the 9th of June 1822 in the Village, Dalrymple and was married on the 14th of November 1843 in Dalrymple to Jane Ritchie. James is believed to have been a Wool Weaver and raised a family in Maybole.
• Agnes Bone was christened on the 26th of May 1844 in Dalrymple, Ayrshire.
• Jane Bone was christened on the11th of September 1845 in Dalrymple and was an unmarried housekeeper in Maybole in 1881.
• Margaret Bone was christened on the 25th of August 1847 in Dalrymple.
• John Bone was born on the 7th and christened on the 30th of March 1849 in Danston, Dalrymple and was an unmarried Woollen Manufacturer in Maybole in 1881.
• Mary Bone was christened on the 29th of June 1851 in Dalrymple.
• Elizabeth Bone was born on the 10th of September 1855 in Maybole, Ayrshire.
• James Robert Burns Bone was born on the 25th of January 1859 in Maybole.
• Margaret Bone was born on the 12th and christened on the 24th of July 1825 in Dalrymple.
• Quintin Bone was born on the 14th and christened on the 20th of July 1828 in the Village, Dalrymple.
• Janet Muir Bone was born on the 25th of July and christened on the 2nd of August 1829 in the Village, Dalrymple. Janet died on the 2nd of June 1830 in Dalrymple.
• Jane Bone was born on the 2nd and christened on the 8th of July 1831 in the Village, Dalrymple.  Jane may have married a James Cockburn in Dalrymple in 1851.  Children are not a good match.
3. Janet Duff was christened on the 28th of February 1791 in Hillhead, Dalrymple and married on the 2nd of September 1814 in Dalrymple to James Gemmel.  "February 28h ... Janet Duff, daughter to Thomas Duff and Isabell Muckle his spouse, in Hillhead."
• Thomas Gemmel was born on the 28th and christened on the 30th of October 1814 in the Village, Dalrymple.  Thomas may have married a Margaret McGill in 1840 in Girvan.
• Alexander Gemmel was born on the 5th of November 1815 in Kirkmichael.
• Susanna Gemmel was born on the 18th of August 1818 in Kirkmichael and may have married in 1841 to James Thom of Coylton Parish.
• Agnes Gemmel was christened on the 22nd of November 1821 in Girvan. (twin)
• Isobella Gemmel was christened on the 22nd of November 1821 in Girvan. (twin)
4. Thomas Duff was christened on the 9th of June 1793 in Dalrymple.  "June 9th ... Thomas Duff, son bap. to Thomas Duff and ........ ........ .".
5. Margret Henderson Duff was christened on the 17th of April 1796 in Dalrymple and married on the 17th of August 1830 in Dalrymple to James McMicken.  "April 17th ... Margaret Henderson Duff, daughter bap. to Thomas Duff and Isabel Muckle."  Margaret lived in Coylton at the time of her marriage in 1830.  "December 1st, 1835 ... James McMiken in Dalrymple, Drowned in the River Ayr. He was Buried in Dalrymple Churchyard."  Not certain if this is our James.
• John McMicken was born on the 11th and christened on the 20th of February 1831 in the Village, Dalrymple.  "November 3rd, 1838 ... John McMiken in Dalrymple, Died of Disease of the Head. He was Buried in Dalrymple Churchyard."   Unsure if this is our John.
• Samuel McMicken was born on the 2nd and christened on the 7th of April 1833 in the Village, Dalrymple and married around 1858 in Dalrymple to Margaret M. McCallum. Samuel was a tailor. Margaret was born on the 19th of October 1835 in Dailly to Robert McCallum (Agricultural Labourer) from Ireland and Helen Donnelly.
• James McMicken was born in 1858/59 in Colmonell. James was a Taylor and lived in Maybole in 1881.
• Mary Cumming McMicken was born on the 22nd of April 1860 in Dalrymple and married in 1886 in Dalrymple to William Young.
• Margarate Duff McMicken was born on the 18th of January 1863 in Dalrymple. Margaret was a servant to John Johnstone in Colmonell in 1881.
• Annie McMicken was born on the 13th of October 1864 in Dalrymple. Annie lived with her brother James in Maybole in 1881.
• Thomas McCallum McMicken was born on the 28th of June 1866 in Dalrymple. Thomas was a Railway Porter.
• Matilda McCallum McMicken was born on the 17th of June 1868 in Dalrymple and married in 1887 in Dalrymple to William Morrison.
• Janet McMicken was born on the 30th of October 1870 in Dalrymple.
• Samuel McMicken was born on the 10th of October 1872 in Dalrymple.
• Peter McMicken was born in 1879 in Dalrymple.
• Margaret McMicken was born on the 23rd of August and christened on the 4th of September 1836 in the Village, Dalrymple and married on the 14th of July 1865 in Dalrymple to Alexander Strathern.  Margaret's father James died before she was born.  Alexander Strathern was born in 1839 in Ochiltree to George Strathern and Euphemia McCosh.
• George Strathern was born on the 9th of August 1866 in Ayr, Ayrshire.
• Margaret Duff Strathearn was born on the 27th of January 1868 in Ayr.
• Euphemia Strathearn was born on the 21st of October 1870 in Ayr.
• Thomas Weir Strathearn was born on the 10th of August 1873 in Ayr.
6. Isabella Duff was born in 1797/98 in Dalrymple and married on the 22nd of November 1819 in Dalrymple to Andrew Hose.
7. Mary Duff was born on the 18th and christened on the 19th of June 1801 in the Village, Dalrymple and married on the 2nd of March 1832 in Dalrymple to William McDonald.  "June 18th ... Mary Duff, daughter born to Thomas Duff and Isabell Muckle, in the Village."
• William McDonald was born on the 28th of September and christened on the 14th of October 1832 in the Village, Dalrymple.
• Margaret McDonald was born on the 20th of October and christened on the 2nd of November 1834 in the Village, Dalrymple.
• Thomas McDonald was christened on the 25th of March 1840 in Ballantrae.
8. Sarah Duff was born on the 27th and christened on the 29th of January 1804 in the Village, Dalrymple and married in 1832 in New Cumnock to William Howart McCartney.  "January 27th ... Sarah Duff, daughter born to Thomas Duff and Isabell Muckle, in the Village."  William was born on the 14th of November 1788 in New Cumnock and died on the 22nd of May 1860 in New Cumnock.
• Robert McCartney was born on the 7th of July 1833 in New Cumnock.
• James McCartney was born in 1836 in New Cumnock.
• Margaret McCartney was christened on the 15th of June 1840 in New Cumnock and married on the 21st of February 1862 in Righead, New Cumnock to Thomas Nisbet. Thomas was born on the 12th of June 1841 in Gatehead, Kilmaurs.
• William Nisbet was born on the 22nd of November 1862 in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire.
• William Nisbet was born on the 17th of February 1864 in Galston.
• Alexander Nisbet was born on the 2nd of March 1866 in Galston.
• James Nisbet was born on the 8th of July 1868 in Loudon.
• Robert Nisbet was born on the 19th of November 1870 in Galston.
• Sarah Nisbet was born on the 22nd of April 1873 in Galston.
• Sillars Nisbet was born in 1876 in Galston.

John Duff (Agricultural Labourer) was born on the 28th of April and christened on the 3rd of May 1807 in the Village, Dalrymple and married on the 9th of December 1831 in Dalrymple to Janet Wilson.  "April 28th ... John Duff, son born to Thomas Duff and Isabel Muckle, in the Village."  Janet was born in Edinburgh around 1810/11, lived in Kirkmichael at the time of her marriage in 1831 and died on the 11th of April 1887 in Patna, Straiton. John died on the 18th of March 1888 in Patna, Straiton.  In the 1841 census in Straiton, their name is given as McDuff.
• John Wilson Duff was born on the 3rd and christened on the 13th of January 1833 in the Village, Dalrymple.
• Isabella Duff was born on the 2nd and christened on the 15th of September 1835 in Springwell, Dalrymple.  Isabella may have married an Alexander Marshall in Straiton in 1854.
• Jane Duff was born on the 4th and christened on the 22nd of March 1837 in Skeldon, Dalrymple and married on the 17th of January 1859 in Patna to Quintin Blane. Quintin was born in 1830/31 in Straiton to John (Joiner) and Mary Blane and died on the 25th of February 1889 in Kerse, Dalrymple. Jane died on the 17th of July 1928.
• Mary Blain was born on the 13th of May 1859 in Dalmellington.
• Matilda Janet Wilson Blain was born on the 27th of January 1861 in Patna, Straiton.
• Euphemia Blain was born on the 25th of November 1862 in Patna, Straiton.
• Jane Duff Blain was born on the 15th of October 1864 in Patna, Straiton.
• John Blain was born on the 20th of December 1866 in Patna, Straiton.
• William Blain was born on the 11th of December 1868 in Patna, Straiton.
• Stewart Blain was born on the 6th of April 1871 in Patna, Straiton.
• Quintin Blain was born on the 10th of May 1873 in Patna, Straiton.
• James Blain was born on the 24th of June 1875 in Patna, Straiton.
