William Ramsay junr. Fisherman and Isabel Martin both in Newhaven after the usual proclamation of banns were Married March 3rd 1804 by Dr. Johnston.

1. William Martin was christened on the 21st of September 1777 in Newhaven, North Leith, Midlothian, Scotland.
2. Isobel Martin (Fishwife) was christened on the 1st of June 1779 in Newhaven and married on the 3rd of March 1804 in Newhaven to William Ramsay.
3. Janet Martin was christened on the 20th of May 1781 in Newhaven.  Janet may have married a James Downs in Newhaven in 1812.
4. Christian Martin (F) was christened on the 31st of May 1783 in Newhaven.
5. Alexander Martin was christened on the 13th of August 1786 in Newhaven.
6. Margaret Martin was christened on the 26th of October 1788 in Newhaven.  Margaret may have married an Elias Johnston in Newhaven in 1817.

Strangely, Isabella is named Martin and not Ramsey.  Could this be a sister-in-law of Isabella's who is looking after Isabella's two youngest children?
