Jane Loten was christened on the 26th of February 1809 in St. Mary's,
Portsea, Hampshire to Richard Loten and Catherine Press. Later siblings
were born in Hambledon. Also a Richard Loten stayed with Jane's family in
the 1851 census.

Richard Loton (Pauper) was christened on the 14th of December 1806 in St. Mary's, Portsea, Hampshire. Richard did not appear to have married. In the 1851 census it appears that he is living with his sister Jane.
Jane Loten was christened on the 26th of February 1809 in St. Mary's, Portsea, Hampshire and married on the 24th of December 1827 in Hambledon to John Shepherd.
Catherine Lowton was christened on the 20th of April 1817 in Hambledon, Hampshire and married on the 26th of April 1835 in Portsea to Samuel Weston. They emigrated to New Zealand where Catherine died on the 10th of April 1848 in The Hutt, New Zealand. Samuel Weston was christened on the 20th of February 1814 in Hambledon, Hampshire to John Weston and Jane Precter and died on the 6th of July 1872 in Petone, New Zealand.
Phebe Weston was christened on the 27th of September 1835 in Hambledon, Hampshire and married on the 21st of May 1852 in The Hutt, New Zealand to Stephen Mudgway. Phoebe died on the 8th of May 1899 in Lower Hutt, New Zealand. They had twelve children all born in The Hutt, New Zealand.
Caroline Charlotte Weston was christened on the 29th of October 1837 in Portchester, Hampshire. Caroline died on the 4th of April 1848 in The Hutt, New Zealand at age 10.
Samuel Weston was christened around the 7th of December 1839 in Wickham, Hampshire and married on the 24th of September 1863 in The Hutt, New Zealand to Sarah Elizabeth Young. Samuel died on the 10th of September 1923 in Palmerston North, New Zealand.
Eliza Weston was born on the 24th of February 1842 in The Hutt, New Zealand. Eliza died on the 26th of September 1867 in The Hutt, New Zealand at age 25.
Mary Anne Weston was born on the 23rd of September 1844 in Petone, New Zealand. Mary Anne died on the 5th of August 1884 in Palmerston North, New Zealand.
Ellen Weston was born on the 6th of October 1846 in Petone, New Zealand. Ellen died around 1928.
James Lotton (Dealer, Farmer of 7 Acres) was christened on the 11th of April 1819 in Hambledon, Hampshire and married before 1851 in Hambledon to Hester Blackman. James died in 1876 in Hampshire. Hester was born in Catherington, Hampshire in 1820/21. They had no children. A James Loten married a Hester Blackman in Portsea Island in Oct-Dec 1842 - Vol 7 Page 237. Hester is still going strong at age 80 in the 1901 census. She has made full circle back to Catherington again.
John Loton was christened on the 29th of April 1821 in Widley, Hampshire and buried on the 27th of April 1824 in Hambledon, Hampshire.
Ann Lowton was christened on the 17th of October 1824
in Hambledon, Hampshire and married on the 12th of March 1842 in Hambledon
to Henry Langridge (Labourer). Henry was christened on the 28th
of October 1821 in Hambledon, Hampshire to George Langridge and Charlotte
Voller. Ann lived in Enhams, Hambledon.
