James Woolfry Dennis (Agricultural Labourer) was born in 1803, christened on the 1st of January 1806 in East Orchard, Dorset, and married on the 18th of February 1828 in Iwerne Minster, Dorset to Charlotte Pike (Glover).  Charlotte was born in 1807/08 in Stour Provost, Dorset and died in Jul-Sep 1882 in Shaftsebury (East Orchard?) at age 75.
   • George (Agricultural Labourer) Denniss was born in 1828/29 in Fontmill, Dorset.
   • James Thomas Denness ((Agricultural Labourer, Farmer, Carter) was born about 1832 in East Orchard, Dorset and married on the 25th of April 1852 in East Orchard to Hannah Joy.  Hannah Joy was born in 1831/32 in Shaftesbury, Dorset to Steven Joy and Susanna Hannam.
     • Emily Denness was born in 1848/49 in Dorset.  Possibly Hannah's child before they were married.
     • Susan Jane Denness was born on the 18th of August 1852.
     • Anne Amelia Denness was born on the 3rd of June 1855.
     • Christiana Denness (Dairymaid) was born on the 26th of December 1858 in Canford, Dorset.
     • Henry Denness (Tilemaker) was born on the 11th of March 1860 in Canford or East Orchard, Dorset and married on the 12th of November 1887 in Canford, Dorset to Louisa Penney.  Louisa's parents were John Penney (Cattle Dealer) and Tabitha Gillingham (Laundress).
       • Reginald Harry Dennis was born on the 24th of May 1896 in Broadstone, Canford, Dorset and married in ____ to Alice Mabel Allen.  Alice was born on the 13th of September 1894 in Poole, Dorset.

3. John Dennis (Agricultural Labourer) was christened on the 19th of May 1811 in East Orchard, Dorset and married on the 26th of September 1838 in Gillingham, Dorset to Sarah Read, and remarried in the late 1850s in Gillingham, Dorset to Harriet Hatch (Silk Throwster).  Harriett was christened on the 10th of August 1820 in Gillingham, Dorset to John and Charity Hatch.  John hatch was christened on the 21st of January 1777 in Gillingham, Dorset to Thomas and Ann Hatch.
4. Elizabeth Ann Dennis was christened on the 1st (or 12th) of June 1817 in East Orchard, Dorset.  Elizabeth may have married a William Poor in Oct-Dec 1841 in Blandford, Dorset.

6. Sarah Dennis (Glover) was christened on the 20th of January 1822 in East Orchard, Dorset and married on the 15th of February 1844 in East Orchard to Henry Brown (Ag. Lab.) of Sutton, Dorset.  Sarah dies sometime between 1851 and 1861, and Henry marries again to Susan ____ of Donhead St. Andrew, Wiltshire.
   • Amelia Brown was born in 1844/45 in Sutton, Dorset.
