Sarah Kirkland was born in March/April 1790 in Stewarton to James Kirkland and Jean Wylie.

Since Sarah was 70 in 1861 at the time of the census, and 71 on April 17th at the time of her death, I have used this information to place her birth in 1790.  No birth or christening record has yet been found.

Married around 1808 in Dunlop? to Robert Rodger and later remarried on the 23rd of September 1816 in Dunlop to Andrew Clark.

Andrew Clark was born in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire in 1771 to John Clark, Shoemaker and Jean Wyllie.  He died on the 17th of December 1862 in Main Street, Stewarton of Retention of Urine.
