Married a second time in 1838 in Newhaven? to Jean Young.  Jean is believed to have been born on the 29th of July and christened on the 2nd of August 1816 in North Leith to Robert Young and Jean Burton.  No marriage record found yet.  In 1881, the widowed Jane Young is living with her son Isaac Lyle at 1 Victoria Place.

1. Elizabeth Lyalls was born on the 6th and christened on 9th September 1787 in Newhaven.  This Elizabeth is believed to have died as a young girl.

2. Isabel Lyall was born on the 13th and christened on 18th October 1789 in Newhaven and married on the 5th of November 1813 in Newhaven to John Liston.  John was born and christened on the 16th of August 1791 in Newhaven to John Liston and Catherine Wilson.  John died on the 16th of March 1857.

3. Walter Lyle born on 13th and christened on 20th December 1791 in Newhaven, and married in 1813 in Newhaven to Euphemia Mason.
   
   
4. David Lyal was born on the 12th and christened on 16th October 1797 in Newhaven.

Walter was really 49, not 45. Looks as if wife Euphemia has died, and he has married a second time to a very young Jean Young.   Robert and James are children by his second wife.
