1. Weir Hamilton was born on the 15th of March 1787 in Burngrains, Dalziel, and married on the 2nd of June 1809 in Cambusnethan to Lockhart Stewart.
   
   
2. Margaret Hamilton born on 31st March 1789 in Burngrains Dalziel, and married on the 21st of October 1804 in Dalserf, Lanarkshire to James McGee.  Margaret died before the 1841 census.  (Verify)  There is now some doubt about this marriage!

4. Marrion Hamilton was born on the 12th of May 1793 in Burngrains Dalziel.  Marrion is believed to have died as a young child.

6. Robert James Hamilton was born on the 14th of April 1797 in Burngrains, Dalziel and married on the 17th of January 1821 in Dalziel to Isabel Shearer.

7. Marion Hamilton was born on the 28th of April 1799 in Burngrains, Dalziel, and was married on the 1st of February 1821 in Dalziel, Lanarkshire to Peter Black (Forrester).  Peter was born in Dalziel in 1800 to William Black and Agnes Livingstone, and died in Dalziel on the 5th of March 1860.  Marion died on the 25th of January 1883 in Dalziel at age 83.

• John Hamilton Black was born on the 9th of April 1820 in Burngrains, Lanarkshire.
• William Black (Coalpit Labourer, Ironworks Enginekeeper, Coalminer, Engineman) was born on the 23rd of December 1821 in Windmillhill, Lanarkshire, and was married on the 4th of July 1847 in Hamilton and the 25th of July 1847 in Dalziel to Isabella Wright and married again on the 25th of August 1876 in Motherwell to Elizabeth Weir (nee Barrie).  William died on the 18th of January 1909 at the Royal Infirmary in Glasgow at age 87.  Isabella was born on the 30th of November 1825 Hamilton to Andrew Wright and Barbara Kerr.  Isabella died on the 19th of April 1873 in Duncan Street, Glasgow.

  • Barbara Black was born around 1850 in Cross Stone, Dalziel, Lanarkshire and married on the 16th of December 1870 in Merry Street, Motherwell to George Gray Millar.  George was born in 1841 in Quarry Street, Hamilton, Lanarkshire and died on the 13th of February 1910 at the Poorhouse Hospital, 167 Renfrew Road, Govan.
    • Isabella Wright Millar was born on the 24th of July 1871 in Central District, Glasgow.  Isabella married and moved to South Africa.
    • Janet Millar was born on the 11th of April 1873 in Bridgeton, Glasgow but died on the 21st of August 1878 at 131 Canning Street, Bridgeton at only 5 years of age.
    • William Millar was born on the 5th of December 1874 in Bridgeton, Glasgow.
    • John Millar was born on the 13th of February 1877 in Bridgeton, Glasgow.
    • George Millar was born on the 25th of March 1879 in Bridgeton, Glasgow and was married on the 1st of June 1906 in Clayton Terrace, Glasgow to Agnes Wilson McAllister.  George died on the 17th of August 1945 at the County Hospital, Cleland, Lanarkshire.
      • William McAllister Millar was born on the 15th of January 1912 in Dalmuir and married on the 31st of January 1941 in Saltcoats, Ayrshire to Catherine Muir Henderson.
    • Barbara Millar was born on the 3rd of August 1881 in Glasgow.  Barbara is believed to have followed her sister Isabella to South Africa.
    • Peter Black Millar was born on the 1st of January 1884 in Glasgow.
    • Janet Millar was born on the 1st of April 1886 in Calton, Glasgow.
  • Andrew Black (Iron Puddler) was born around 1852 and was married on the 25th of June 1875 in Larkhall, Lanarkshire to Marion Faulds.  Marion was born around 1854 in Dalziel to John Faulds and Isabella Lindsay and died on the 2nd of November 1931 in Holytown at age 77.  Andrew died on the 15th of January 1933 in Holytown, Lanarkshire at the age of 80.

• Elizabeth Hamilton McKellar was born on the 16th of November 1860 in Dalrymple, Ayrshire.
• Daniel McKellar (Gamekeeper) was born on the 12th of March 1863 in Back Lochans, Tarbolton, Ayrshire and married at age 26 on the 19th of December 1888 in Matfen Parish, Northumberland, England to Christina Soutter.  Christina Soutter was born on the 27th of October 1861 in Peterhead, Aberdeen to William Soutter (Master Mariner) and Agnes Mason.  Daniel died at age 37 on the 26th of February 1901 at the Royal Infirmary in Glasgow.  At the time, he lived in Dennistoon, Glasgow.
