~Hey Everyone~
I am a bit lost for words but I am sure I will find a few
before I go. My thoughts are filled with empathy, concern, sorrow, and total
astonishment in what has taken place on this day, "September 11, 2001.
My life has given me many hard lessons. All of them taught
me to never take those I love or my own life for granted. Not one of those
lessons ever prepared me for "defending my freedom", which I always took
for granted...because my ancestors, your ancestors, fought long and hard
to give that to me long before I was born.
Now I "know" what those in the past must have felt...now I
"know" why they lost their lives...why they fought so hard. Now I "know"!
I know that I am not alone in these thoughts...I bet most of you "know"
too!
