     Polly Aldrich was also known as Mary Aldrich. She appeared on the census of 1850 at Granger, Allegany, New York, as the daughter of the head of the household, Gideon P. Aldrich.⁴

     Edwin A. Aldrich was born on 28 April 1845 in Allegany County, New York.^1,2 He was the son of Gideon P. Aldrich and Rachel Mills. Edwin A. Aldrich married Emma A. Fuller on 12 March 1867 in Columbia County, Wisconsin.² Edwin A. Aldrich married Ellen Crawford circa 1889.¹ Edwin A. Aldrich married Ellen Aldrich circa 1897. Edwin A. Aldrich died on 22 January 1929 at age 83 in South Dakota.²
