Charles E. Aldrich, 66, of 5 Daniels St., died at home Wednesday night after a brief illness. A Pawtucket resident most of his life,he worked for 50 years at Swift and Co., until he retired 2 years ago. He was the husband of Esther (Clarkson) Aldrich. Born in Lisbon, NH,he was the son of the late Henry E. and Cora (Woolson) Aldrich. He was a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church, Pawtucket, where he also taught Sunday School. Mr. Aldrich was also a member of Jenks Lodge No.24, F and AM, Walter E.Marcy Chapter No.2, Order ofEastern Star, Pawtucket,and a member of the Sword of Bunker Hill. Besides his wife, survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Harold Oldfield of Lincoln and Mrs. Herbert Cheek of Pawtucket; four brothers,John and Herbert Aldrich of Pawtucket, Louis A.Aldrich of Charlotte, NC.,and Richard Aldrich of Central Falls."
