     Martha Isabell Tyler was born on 12 June 1862 in Evergreen, San Jacinto, Texas.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Marion Tyler and Mary Catherine Longley.² Martha Isabell Tyler died on 22 September 1953 at age 91 in Escalante, Garfield, Utah.¹

     There are some very confusing data conflicts with this family in the 1900 and the 1910 census records.
In 1900 Charlotte Tyler is shown as 22 years of age and her birth in July 1877. BUT it also shows her as the mover of 10 children with 8 still living in 1900. She and Robert are shown as having been married for 17 years.
8 children are shown with ages 15 to new born.

If she is the mother of all these children she would have been 8 years old when she gave birth the first time. Hardly likely.

In the 1910 census Robert and Charlotte are shown as having been married 15 years which is consistant with a 1894 marriage and she is shown as the mother of 8 children with 8 still living. Which is consistant with the 8 children in the household in 1910. 3 of the four children born pre-1900 match the children in the household in 1910. The 4th child was listed in 1900 as daughter Ruth born 1896 and in 1910 as son J. Rue also born in 1896. That the sex of the child was an entry error in one of the two census years is very possible. A child of either name is shown in the 1920 census household of Robert and Charlotte. Robert is also noted as this being his second marriage.
