"Emma M. Capron, 94, a resident of Kent Regency, died July 31, 2005, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Raymond F. Capron.
Born in New York City, a daughter of the late Edwin L. and Matilda M. (Kearse) Breves, she had been a Warwick resident since 1982, formerly residing in Providence.

She was formerly employed by the A&Z Chain Company of East Providence. She was a former member and past president of the Sparrow Point Tenants Association, St. Matthew's Leisure Club and American Legion Post #60.

She was the mother of Regina A. Cooney of Panama City, FL, Robert E. Capron of Stratford, CT, Raymond C. Capron of Pompano Beach, FL, Ronald F. Capron of Sierra Madre, CA, Lawrence P. Capron of Bristol, Patricia L. Parillo of West Warwick, Janice M. Pare of Greenville, SC, and Dennis P. Capron of Warwick and the late William J. Capron and Richard H. Capron; sister of Chester P. Breves of Stuart, FL, Lorraine Cetran of Hamden, CT, and the late Harold J. Breves. She also leaves many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Her funeral was held from Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gregory the Great Church, Cowesett Rd., Warwick. Burial was in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston."

Mrs. Catherine CAPRON, well known resident of Rochester passed away Saturday morning at 6:30 o'clock.
Death resulted from complications following an illness of several months' duration. Mrs. Capron for many years resided in the Leiters Ford community and later removed to Rochester, where she took an active part in the city's religious work and social affairs. The deceased had a legion of friends throughout the entire county.
Catherine (STAHL), daughter of Samuel and Mary (RIESNER) STAHL was born in Stark county, Ohio, on January 23rd, 1853. She came to Fulton county in the year of 1856 where she has since resided. In 1888 she was united in marriage to Ace CAPRON, the ceremony being pronounced at Providence, R.I. Mr. Capron preceded her in death a number of years ago. The deceased was a member of the Rochester Baptist church.
The survivors are a sister, Mrs. Nancy SALES, of Leiters Ford; a brother, Frank STAHL, of Leiters Ford, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon 2 o'clock at the Leiters Ford Methodist church, with Rev. John WALTON in charge. Interment will be made in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Leiters Ford.
The body will lie in state at the Zimmerman Brothers Funeral home, this city up until the hour of the funeral."
