She married Orlin Capron, son of Dr. Comfort Capron and Martha Metcalf, on 1 October 1798 in Harford, Susquehanna, Pennsylvania.¹ Amy Carpenter died on 14 August 1832 at age 51.      Ara Capron was born on 22 September 1802 in Harford, Susquehanna, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Orlin Capron and Amy Carpenter. Ara Capron married Eliza Sweet. Ara Capron died on 12 August 1835 at age 32 in Summit County, Ohio. He was buried in Montrose Cemetery, Norton, Summit, Ohio.¹
