CAST & CREW CALL FOR TRIPPIN’

Deviant Pictures, an award-winning Mishawaka-based film group with a strong film festival record announces auditions for our first feature film scheduled for principal shooting in August 2006.

The Story : Trippin’ is a character-driven horror comedy about 3 couples who spend a night in a remote cabin in the woods where, lo and behold, bad things happen…

The Production: principal shooting scheduled for the first two weeks in August.

The Buzz: Deviant Pictures has a strong track record with our previous productions. Our last few short films have had great success on the film festival circuit officially selected to screen at over 50 film festivals world-wide, garnering numerous awards, distribution deals, and receiving critical acclaim from Film Threat, Pretty-Scary.net and Bloody-Disgusting.com to name a few. Devi Snively's scripts have placed in numerous screenplay competitions including Slamdance (twice), the Austin Film Festival (twice), Writer's Digest and Scriptapalooza just to name a few. The rough draft of Trippin' has just recieved highly favorable coverage and advanced to the next round of the Feeding Frenzy Screenplay Competition. The final draft will be even stronger.

The Challenge: Budget, of course. Like our short films, Trippin' will be produced on a shoestring budget. We don't have big bucks to offer cast and crew members, but all who participate will be fed, housed, worshipped and will receive a DVD copy of the finish film. They will also go in knowing that our films play before audiences worldwide.

CAST: We are currently accepting audition tapes (VHS, DVD or mini-dv only - no HI-8, Beta, or other formats please) We will also be holding auditions locally at the Mishawaka Penn Library on April 15 as well as future audition dates in Indianapolis, Chicago and Cleveland.   E-mail deviantpix@hotmail.com or call 574-329-5827 for details and/or to schedule an appointment.  Auditions are by appointment only.  Film will be R-rated.
