Central Bucks West High School was once nationally known for its football program, and Doylestown had become known as a town that produces singers, musicians and bands.

But long before its dominating football teams, and 25 years before the emergence of Pink, Doylestown and C.B. West had an obscure yet popular high school band with the unusual name of Devious Croll.

Though this band had only a brief existence in the late 70's, it has always been remembered by its fans. Made up almost entirely of West grads, Devious Croll left an indelible mark on Doylestown and their classmates of that era.
