These VST plugins were developed using Jeff McClintock's Synthedit. These are free plugins (donations appreciated though) and are not demos.
Tramp Model A
A 3 Operator FM Synth featuring 2 LFO's and a Sweepable BiQuad Filter.
This VST is designed to emulate the classic FM synths of the 80's.
3 Operators that can be configured into 4 different algorithms
Each Oscillator has Sine,Ramp,Saw,Triangle & Square Wave.
Frequency is set by keyboard pitch with ratio adjustments up to +-5 octaves.
Detune up or down 1 octave in semi-tones (notes).
Each Operator has a seperate 4 stage envelope generator.
The rate settings can be multiplied for attack and decay rates that can run into minutes.
Each Operator has a seperate control for setting the sensitivity for
Velocity, Amplitude Modulation or Pitch Modulation.
An output level controls the output level for each OSC. Each OSC can also be switched off.
Handy for creating new voices.
The Model A features 2 LFOs. Each LFO is gated and has an Attack and Release Envelope. Each LFO produces Sine,Ramp,Saw,Triangle and Square Waves.
The Model A also features a 4 stage pitch envelope generator.
The operators can be configured into 4 different Algorithms.
Operator 3 includes an adjustable feedback path, ( a little distortion? ).
A Biquad sweepable filter is included on this vst. The filter can be selected to a Low Pass, Hi Pass, Band Pass or Notch. The Fc (critical / center frequency) and Q (bandwidth) is adjustable. The filter includes a built in gated LFO with Sine, Saw, Ramp, Triangle and Square Waves. The LFO is gated and can be delayed. LFO Speed and Depth controls are also included. The LFO modulates the FC of the filter.
Portamento and a Master Volume are also include.

Tramp 4
A 4 Operator FM Synth somewhere between a DX7 and TX81z.
This VST is designed to emulate the classic FM synths of the 80's.
4 Operators that can be configured into 8 different algorithms
Each Oscillator has Sine,Ramp,Saw,Triangle & Square Wave and 2 modes, Ratio and Fixed
Frequency is set by keyboard pitch with ratio adjustments up to 6 octaves.
Fixed frequency range is from 1 hz to 20 Khz.
Fine Tune adjusts 2 octaves in Ratio Mode
Fine Tune is Log10(x) scale in Fixed Mode.
Fixed Frequency is displayed in Hz.
Detune up or down 1 octave.
Each Operator has a seperate 4 stage envelope generator.
The rate settings can be multiplied for attack and decay rates that can run into minutes.
A Keyboard scaler is available for each operator.
The scaler is used to adjust the volume levels for keys left and right
of the preset breakpoint.
Each Operator has a seperate control for setting the sensitivity for
Velocity, Amplitude Modulation or Pitch Modulation.
An output level controls the output level for each OSC. Each OSC can also be switched off.
Handy for creating new voices.
The LFO is gated and has a delay control and level control. The LFO produces Sine,Ramp,Saw,Triangle and Square Wave.
The Tramp4 also features a 4 stage pitch envelope generator for really messing up the pitch signal before it enters the operators.
The operators can be configured into 8 different Algorithms like used in the Yamaha TX81z.
(Except Alg 3) which is my custom alg.
Operator 4 includes an adjustable feedback path, ( a little distortion? ).
Portamento and a Master Volume are also include.
As big and hefty as Tramp4 is, It runs pretty well on my 500 Mhz, Celeron.
Some settings can use up a lot of CPU though.
