These marriage notices are from the Brinkley Argus in 1898. Each week, surrounding communities submitted a news/gossip column to the paper. More often than not, (at least during this time period). birth, death, and marriage notices were included in these columns. Each town had a name for their gossip column. I've included those names with each marriage notice. This paper came out once a week - on Thursdays. They are alphabetized under the groom's last name. Also, I've tried to stay true to the articles by not changing spelling and, for the most part, punctuation. Occassionally I do add punctuation if I think it will make the article easier to interpret. And I've added the surnames in bold print at the beginning of each article to make it easier to spot the surnames you're looking for. And finally, this particular page is complete. I've found all the marriage notices I can find in the Brinkley Argus between 1896-1898. No more updates will be made to this page.
Surrounding communities include: Holly Grove, Clarendon, Roe, Black Ankle, Monroe, Hunter, Turner, Blackton, Keevil, Wheatley, Dark Corner, Zent,Brinkley
