Doc Hunter & Dusty Lace

Doc Hunter and I first met at EOT '02 in California at the Bell Union Saloon during a game of poker.  We saw each other around the rest of that week but never realized we both came out from New England.  I was showing the photo of us playing poker (above) to the Toledo Kid when he told me Doc was one of the Lincoln County Lawmen of Manville, RI so I drove on down to see him, pals ever since.  Doc is accomplished shootist, a lot of fun to be with and of course a snappy dresser.
After a long engagement he and the lovely Dusty Lace tied the knot, a cowboy ceremony was held in Oct. 04 officiated by the late beloved Augustus Tate.  On June 2nd, 2006 they had a son - Kyle Joseph.   No doubt another Hunter will be on the ranges in the future but until then Doc is retired to be a dad.

The Toledo Kid & Saguaro Jack

This is Saguaro Jack & his son the Toledo Kid.
Saguaro has many talents - top shootist, loader, lead caster, sign maker and fellow cigar connoisseur.  He also has that wicked sense of humor but the kind that is said with such a straight face.  I swear he puts potpourri in his loads and it's always a sight when he goes to the line with the stubby rifle & extra long shotgun.
The Kid thinks of himself as a big goofy kid (he's not alone), but has proven he can hold his own with the other gamers - even if he needs to duck to shoot thru most doorways & windows.   Next to Driftwood I can think of no other I'd rather be with out on the range.  A writer of some of the best stages he loves to torture Ida Mae with odd shotgun targets.
Quiet and stealthy, Jack and the Kid come in sweep the stages and disappear into the sunset until the next time with the mighty war cry "Stupid Trapdoor!".

Dead Head

The quiet mysterious stranger who can be found sitting on his cart, smoking his cigar and enjoying a good book at a match.  Dead Head has gone under many names - Captain Shanklin, Major Carter, Occoquan Kid, Shooting Bum - before settling on his one true moniker.
Dead Head has many distinguished accomplishments in his background, shooter & mentor about the only thing he can't seem to do is predict the weather.  Unless you want rain - he seems to be good at that.  You can learn his history from his website here.
He is also the information web for N.E.W.S. CAS and is master of many domains as well as runs a Long Range match in Barrington, N.H..
