Doc Hunter & Dusty Lace

How it all began..   Years later in Manville...

They'll never recognize me!      Doc takes out the trash   My Little Buttercup   Pistol thru the window

The happy couple on their wedding day!   Pike, Gus & Doc      The wedding on the Range   Wild Bill & Doc Hunter

Doc Hunter and I first met at EOT '02 at the Bell Union during a game of poker.  We saw each other around the rest of that week but never realized we both came out from New England.  I was showing the photo of us playing poker to the Toledo Kid when he told me Doc was one of the Lincoln County Lawmen of Manville, RI (featured in the CAS Club pages).  Doc is an excellent shootist, a lot of fun to be with and a snappy dresser.  After a long engagement he and the lovely Dusty Lace tied the knot, a cowboy ceremony was held in Oct. 04 officiated by the late beloved Augustus Tate.

The Toledo Kid & Saguaro Jack

The Toledo Kid   Saguaro Jack

I've forgotten my line   Holy Toledo   Thru the gap   And he's fast too...   We all look like midgets next to him

Except Jake   Who built this fort?   Toldeo & Saguaro   The Imposing Flower Girl   No more for me I'm shootin'

A window that fits!      Doc Holliday

This is Saguaro Jack & his son the Toledo Kid.  Saguaro is a first class shootist, loader, lead caster, cart sign maker and fellow cigar connoisseur.  Quiet and stealthy, he and the Kid come in sweep the stages and disappear into the sunset until the next time.  The Kid thinks of himself as a big goofy kid, but has proven he can hold his own with the other gamers - even if he needs to duck to shoot thru most doorways & windows.  He was hand picked to be the Flower Girl at Pony & Addy's wedding - spreading lavender shotgun shells, hear his mighty war cry "Stupid Trapdoor!"

Dead Head

Little Rascle   Another nap...   It's nap time

Nice flame!   Great coat!   Dead Head and his long gun   Dead Head takes aim   Another left handed duelist

The quiet mysterious stranger who can be found sitting on his cart, smoking his cigar and enjoying a good book at a match.  Dead Head has gone under many names - Captain Shanklin, Major Carter, Occoquan Kid, Shooting Bum - before settling on his one true moniker.  Dead Head has many distinguished awards in his background, he has proven himself a first class shootist many times in CAS matches.  He has become the information for the N.E. TG group and is web master for the many club sites and runs a Long Range match in Barrington, N.H. as well as bein' a fine pard.
