In any war against Mithradates, the Galatians will provide 2d6 elements from II/30b as an ally contingent. The Roman player selects the elements. If the result is six or more elements, one must be an ally general. Mithradates becomes adjacent to Cilicia and Syria when this is played, becoming a ‘potential enemy’ as opposed to invader. If rolled again, before Mithradates’ defeat, another invasion is launched of these provinces. The target is selected by the player who rolls this result. Roll a die, on a 4,5,6 the target is killed. If a player, the next senior member of the faction takes over (but is in Rome for this round). If a non-player consul, the legate in any province with the most prestige becomes proconsul suffectus for the round, receiving credit as if he were governor. Cancels effect of demagogue or tribune of plebs if they are targeted.
