 What it is: Salad - 7 1/8" slate blue or azure color with a very unique crest. The crest is a beveled shield with a sword on the diagonal and three stars above and below. There is nothing written on the banner below. Above the crest and floral is a raised arm holding a spear.What we know: This piece is by Mayer China from 1962 (162) datecode. We have also seen this topmark used by Wallace China in red as far back as the 1930's. |
