Diane Pearson
earned a
master's degree in education at Butler
University in Indianapolis, IN, with coursework in adult education and
professional speaking. She taught in the Business Division at
Ivy Tech State College in Lafayette, IN, for fourteen years. In 1995
she received the "Award for Excellence in Instruction" from her
students. The following year she received the "Excellence in
Teaching Award"
from the National Association of Collegiate Business Schools and
Programs, one of six finalists in the United States for the national
award.
In 1996 Diane had a conversion experience that changed
her life. One year later God called her to retire from her teaching job to devote all
her time to Christian writing, speaking, and teaching.
For ten years Diane wrote a weekly newspaper column for The
Times, Frankfort, IN, called Real Life Devotions, true stories of God working in people's lives. In addition to the 500 devotions in The Times, Diane's stories have appeared in twenty-three other publications, including The
Upper Room Daily Devotional Guide, The Indianapolis Star, Toastmaster
Magazine, Hoosier United Methodist News, The Lutheran Digest, and others.
She has
a heart for teaching adults. Diane has taught adult Sunday school
classes at her church for three decades, and she has facilitated twenty
short- and long-term studies outside of the Sunday school hour.

Diane is an award-winning speaker through Toastmasters International, an organization devoted to improving public speaking skills. In 1998 Diane completed courses to become a Certified Lay Speaker through the United Methodist Church. She has spoken to more than 160 audiences, ranging in size from a dozen to several hundred, across many denominations. Revelation Ministries was founded in 1999 based on 1 Peter 2:9: "That
you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into
his wonderful light." Its purpose is to reveal God's
presence, power, and love in a way that glorifies our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ. Diane fulfills this mission by sharing true stories of
God's miracle-working power through her writing, speaking, and
