Diane Pearson earned a bachelor’s degree and a master's degree in education at Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. Her graduate work included classes in adult education and professional speaking.

Professional Background

Program Chair and faculty in the Business Division at Ivy Tech State College in Lafayette, IN, for fourteen years (1983-1997). 

  •  In 1995 received the "Award for Excellence in Instruction" from students at Ivy Tech State College
  •  In 1996 received the "Excellence in Teaching Award" from the National Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs, one of six finalists in the United States for the national award

Church Teaching Experience 
Diane has been teaching adult Sunday school classes at her church for 30 years. In addition, she has taught approximately 20 short- and long-term classes outside of the Sunday school hour.  Here is a partial list:

Curriculum Writing

Diane had experience writing curriculum for several courses while teaching at Ivy Tech State College.  

She wrote discussion guides for the 12-week Experiencing God classes held at her church and a Companion Guide for God in the Midst of Grief, based on Diane's book.

Diane is interested in writing curriculum for adult Christian course materials.
