MISSION
Disciples for Choice (DFC) is an independent caucus of
pro-choice Christians within the
Christian Church (Disciples
of Christ) and a member group of the
Religious Coalition
for Reproductive Choice (RCRC). Both Disciples for Choice
and the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice affirm the right
of women--not the government--to make decisions about
their own reproductive health care.
Working with
ecumenical and interfaith partners in the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice (RCRC),
Disciples for Choice promotes the full range of options for decision-making in relation to
reproductive health care. It also educates youth and adults in diverse ethnic and racial communities,
providing them with resources for making responsible choices in relation to their sexuality and
reproductive health. |
