Extraordinary (AC Mix)
Notes: The version of "Extraordinary" on this disc clocks in at 3:12, 12 seconds shorter than the stock version on Liz Phair: the intro is shorter and the sonic mix is punchier. No, "AC" is not an acronym for "alternating current": Wikipedia defines Adult Contemporary as "a type of radio format that plays mainstream contemporary popular music, excluding hip hop, hard rock, teen pop music and rhythmic dance tracks (though during the 2000s, these have been included), which is intended for a mature adult audience. Radio stations playing this format will often target 16-54 year-olds, the group most valued by advertisers." I've seen but a single copy of this disc, housed in a regular jewel case: the laser-printed paper label is stuck directly on the CD-R. There's no other artwork to speak of. Added June 5, 2008 |
