Site History

Memorial Day weekend 2008:  Let's see...  it's been about 5 years since the last update, about 3 years since the site went offline (long story), and nearly 15 years since the debut of Exile. I think I'll celebrate with a new entry.

St. Valentine's Day 2003:  Radio shows finally added. I suspect that more syndicated radio shows with material by Liz are in circulation. Please contact me if you have more information. Thanks.

February 2, 2003:  Update number 1 adds complete details for all of Liz's commercial singles, EPs, and long players and all known Liz-only promo releases. Still no radio shows; check back soon.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2003:  The Liz Phair Discography @ Never Said makes its debut, concluding 6 weeks of coding and years of procrastination. Detail pages for nearly all of the promo compilation entries accompany basic listings for the other release categories (except Radio Shows).

December 22, 2002:  A bare-bones front page is posted, including links to detail pages on the 2 recent promo compilations with "Take A Look", Liz's first new track in ages. The front page promises a launch by January 20.

June 29, 1995:  I'm gonna learn HTML! Following updates to versions 1.1 and 1.2, the text-only discography is abandoned at a unfinished version 2.0 in favor of a hyperlinked document for the brave new World Wide Web. Real Life ensues. Seven years pass....

March 1995:  "Liz Phair Discography v. 1.0", a simple ASCII text file, is uploaded to alt.music.alterative and posted on Ross Jeffcoat's Guyville, the very first Liz mailing list. I'm no longer a closet fan.
