Notes: Amusing notes included with this radio promo set: "Chicago temptress Liz Phair received mucho mainstream press after last year's Exile In Guyville (and, word has it she'll grace the cover of the granddaddy of all commercial rock mags this fall). Whip-Smart is her second self-produced outing, and 'Supernova' is first up. This lady is sassy and she can get down with the best of 'em. 'Supernova' is a boisterous rocker that needs the censoring it gets here (Liz says lotsa no-nos in her songs)."

"Supernova" was apparently the week's hit pick: the track info is highlighted on the back insert. By the by, the last track on disc 1 is a mystery cover of "For Your Love" (yes, the Yardbirds tune): the person who faxed the correct identity of the artiste to The Album Network was eligible for prizes, etc.
