Notes: The track list above is taken from the 1992 CD reissue. I'm told that the 2-LP set
includes 36 tracks, but no additional Mekons material. All of the cuts here were recorded from
September 1984 to July 1985. Judging by the gigs list in the liner notes, the Mekons played at Thames Poly four times that school
year: November 9, 1984 and March 2, June 8, and July 26 in 1985. The recording of "Help Me Make It Through the Night" isn't stellar and the playing is ragged
but spirited.
Lineup: Not sure, but Jon (?) calls out brief solos by Susie and Dick Taylor.
